As much as I love performing and writing, teaching is another passion of mine that I have had since I first met the legendary educator Rich Matteson. Rich was my teacher at a jazz summer camp in Sweden when I was a teenager and his way of communicate musical material in combination with a warm and encouraging personality made a huge impact on my future career as an educator. I strongly believe that to be effective as a teacher you must have a passion for teaching and an invested interest in each student that are being taught. I'm proud to be faculty member at University of Central Florida in Orlando where I teach a multitude of jazz courses.
