Per Danielsson

Often a recording project reflects people, things or events in an artist's life. It was special to record this album with my Swedish friends in our home country. Each song represents something from my life and musical background.

The album consists of mostly original compositions with special meanings. Tamara Michele is dedicated to Tami, my wife and musical partner.

​

Oreke Silence is reminiscent of my hometown, Ekerö. The title is the town spelled backwards which represents my journeys back. 

​

You Don't Know What Love Is has been in my repertoire for a long time. For this recording, I chose to arrange it as an up-tempo waltz to give it a new sound.

​

I feel fortunate to work with Hans and Joakim. Their musicianship and friendship made the compositions come to life better than I envisioned.
